PRE-SALES AND KO-FI SHOP
Before the End is on pre-sale in my Ko-fi shop now. As mentioned in an earlier newsletter, it's the main book in The Lost Race series.
The official release is on the 19th when I'll be sending out another newsletter to inform y'all.
In the meantime, it's available for pre-sale on my Ko-fi shop. There's a discount code you can use as well, and you can find it later on in this mail.
The Lost Race was a book I had the inspiration for, way back in 2007. It was started after I lost my father, and was drifting, but then I had this idea and I started writing. It was a slow process even then.
I lost nearly all of my draft in a hard drive crash in 2009, and was very dispirited over it. I stopped writing altogether. However, later, I managed to write a small novel and publish it, but I was never fully happy with it.
So I unpublished it, and rewrote it in its entirety, which is the present Before the End.
The prologue chapter of the original book became The Arrival novella in After the End, and some of the deleted chapters in the original book became The Survival Novella in After the End.
revisions, edits, etc
I have finished the revisions of Blade Broken, and it's got even better than I expected. It's the best version that I can make it, and I'm incredibly proud about it.
I have a feeling that if I can properly market it, it will be a best seller because it's so good!
But then me and marketing doesn't go together at all. I only have 4 pre-orders and all of them on amazon so far. Blade of Castrial has done better since I have 6 across all retailers and 3 pre-sales on my Ko-fi shop!

All that praise is just for the novella, so IMAGINE what a full novel in that world is like. I tell y'all it's gonna be mindblowingly good.
I've also written new chapters of Blade Reforged. It would need some heavy revisions for sure, but I'm sure it can be managed once I'm done with the drafts.

Heart of a Hero is on sale this month.It's a superhero book and hella gay!
Pradyutita is also on sale. It's a low fantasy novel based on the Hindu epic Mahabharata.
Pradyutita is an Indie Ink Awards finalist as well this year. The official announcement should be coming out tomorrow. It was also an SPFBO semifinalist in 2020.
I would request y'all to get the books I have on sale from my ko-fi shop, if possible, because 100% royalties, y'all. Even on a $0.99 book, that adds up!

OTHER NEWS
The series of blog posts about the Chinese and Korean shows I've watched has stalled because there are no more Korean shows. I always knew I've watched more Chinese than Korean shows, but I didn't realise the disparity was so high!
Currently, I'm watching Moonlight Mystique, which is On Air, ie still being streamed, but I'm completely invested. Doesn't hurt that it has Bai Lu as the female lead. I can't think of a show I've watched with her in it that I didn't love. She's such an amazing actor!
Don't forget I have a discord server. It's the best place to stay in touch with me. Don't expect much because me introvert no talkie to strangers.
