Almost at the end of the year

Hey Reader,

Hope you have all been doing well. December has been worse than November sales wise. I should maybe get a real job and forget writing books because apparently, I'm not good at this.

Yes, I know it's not actually the end of the year yet, but we're almost there and I want this year to end so badly.

News and Updates

Some of my books have been nominated for the indie ink awards. (gasp)

It was not planned, and I'd explicitly asked people not to nominate my books, but here we are.

I don't expect to get very far in the contest, because it's voting, and well, while I do appreciate contests like this, to me, it's always seemed like a popularity contest when it involves voting, and I'm not a big name author with a lot of following, so my books aren't likely to get many votes. All the same, I would appreciate it if you people would vote for me.

I'm writing a new short story and picking up a few of my older WIPs which I expect to be short. I just don't feel like working on longer things at the moment.

I've finished proofreading Before the End and After the End and both are releasing in January.

I'm also watching some C and K Dramas since I love them so much. I've also started a series of blog posts about those shows, so if any of you are interested, give it a read! It will be on my Author Niranjan website.

I've also been posting the drafted chapters of Blade Reforged, book 2 of Blade Broken on my site in a password protected page. The password is TFKFMS. You can read it if you wish, but it probably won't make much sense without having read Blade Broken, which I hope you'll read! It's on pre-order for a March release and I expect I'll be neck deep in the final round of revisions during January!

It's queer fantasy with romance, a lot of feelings, political intrigue, and magic.

If you want a sample of what it's like, the prequel novella, Blade of Castrial is currently on Net Galley and is open for reviews. You can grab a copy there, but let me know first so I can approve your request.

Author Spotlight

Our author of the month still has books here and here, so don't forget to check them out!

Promotions

My sales are so bad, so I have to promote more. Clearly, that's the answer, right?

Most of my books are in the Smashwords End of Year sale at 50% discount. So, be sure to check them out!

The Smashwords sale is by coupon codes, so it's site specific, but I do have a general End of Year Sale for a few other books till Dec 31st which are on sale everywhere that you can find on the Books on Sale page of my website.

Colliding Forces and Braving the Storm are also part of the LGBT Romance and Fiction Promo on Bookfunnel.

Kobo Plus

Since the remaining promos are all for Kobo Plus, I thought I'd put them here.

Kobo Plus Promo has Memories of Forgotten Waves as part of it and lasts till the end of December.

There's also a Kobo Plus Romantasy Promo going on which has Memories of Forgotten Waves as well as The Soul of Magic in it. Both of these books have relations to oceans. The Soul of Magic also has magical penguins.

Last, but not the least is the Fantasy Promo on Kobo Plus. This one has a LOT of books in it, so be sure to check it out! I have Durga, Pradyutita and The Deathless Ones in the promo! Also, reminder that our author of the month has all her books on Kobo Plus too!

In addition, there is a big Kobo Plus Promo happening on the Kobo site, for fantasy books. Deathless Ones is part of it under epic fantasy, and Spaces of Silence is also there in the audiobooks section. Our author of the month also has books in the promo which are under historical and epic fantasies respectively.

I'm hoping at least some of you have tried the free 1 month trial and downloaded all my books so I can eat, write, and publish more books!

I will likely be back around the 27th of December with some more news and other things.

Till then, stay safe and take care of yourselves.

As always, you can find my books on sale here and all my books here.

Hey Reader, The start of February feels like the beginning of the year in some ways since I'm mostly recovering from the previous year during January. February is when I lost my father, and it's not a happy month for me. I also lost my father-in-law in February, so overall, it's not a happy month for my family. All the news from around the world makes me feel even more bleak, and my heart goes out to all of you in the US, especially. I hope these four years pass quickly, and that this is the...

Hey Reader, I really wasn't sure I'd be able to get this newsletter out. I have been sick all this week, and brain wasn't braining AT ALL. I always knew Alaric and Lucian were special, and I can't express just...

Hey Reader, I know I know, it's more promotions, BUT you get to check out some really cool books! And I get to eat and publish more books and buy Pluto food and snacks. Win Win Right?? News and Updates The Indie Ink Finalist official announcement has come, and as I already told y'all Pradyutita is now officially a finalist. It's also at $0.99 for this month!
